My Grey Bed Series
My Grey Bed is a mixed media painting series that explores the psychological weight of memory, attachment, and return. Centered around the recurring image of a childhood bed, the works transform a familiar resting place into a dense landscape of overlapping past and present. Fragments of personal history, figures, domestic interiors, intimate relationships are layered and merged into scenes of physical clutter that echo a mind in constant movement.

The bed becomes both sanctuary and site of unrest: a space where comfort and chaos coexist. While the compositions are crowded and restless, they hold a quiet tenderness, reflecting the pull of what is known and the reassurance of returning home. The series considers how memory accumulates, how love and worry occupy the same mental space, and how even in stillness the mind remains elsewhere full, searching, and unable to fully settle.
